Welcome to my brand new website, blog and name! I’m so excited to finally be able to share my labor of love with you. This last year has been challenging and I have worked many (late) hours to ensure my brand was more “me” and spoke to what we do here. And now it’s finally here, launch day! This year marked my 5th year in business and I thought there was no better way to celebrate than with a refreshed look! I’ve grown so much over these past few years and wanted my brand to reflect that.
Many of you may wonder why the name change? I love the name Urbane Montage, it relayed how much I wanted to assist couples in translating their ideas into a beautiful masterpiece and how there’s an art to weddings. It brought to mind one of my favorite quotes, When love and skill work together, expect a masterpiece” – John Ruskin.
Everything we do revolves around our couple’s guests and their dream team coming together to celebrate the marriage between two special people. I don’t take that task lightly, my team and I work tirelessly to ensure our couples and their guests enjoy every moment of their wedding weekend. Over the years I have fallen in love with what we do even more. Creating a beautiful masterpiece is still who I am, but witnessing love and its impact never gets old. Love creates the perfect imperfect harmony hence This Love Weddings!

I could never have dreamed up this site without the talented Heidi by my side. Seriously, I can’t thank you enough for putting up with my obsessive attention to detail, countless questions to create a brand and website that I’m in LOVE with! Many thanks to Megan of Girl Got Guts for her writing skills; She knows her stuff and had no problem translating the words in my head into the perfect copy.
Another big thank you goes to Jennifer Thinnes and Heather Crabtree of Outstanding Wedding Business, dedicated to coaching wedding business professionals. Heather is now a small business strategist for creative entrepreneurs. Their guidance and assistance is greater than gold. The saying “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day; teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime” speaks to who they are. They taught me how to fish, to make measurable and attainable goals, and to hone on opportunities of growth. It has been such a journey and I am happy to have them along the way.
None of this could be made possible without my network of family, friends, my counsel, my team, the amazing wedding professionals we work with and last but not least my beautiful couples! I am extremely blessed, my love tank is overflowing and I’m grateful for all the love, encouragement and support through this change.
To celebrate all that is new, I’ve decided to do a giveaway- one that shares the importance of a night out with your love. As much as I love weddings and being a part of our couples’ wedding days, Marriage is why I do what I love. When asked for advice to get through the planning process I always say set aside one day a week where no planning details are discussed, just the two of you enjoying each others company.
